 Welcome to Ames

 Recycled Jeans Project
YOU CAN HELP SET A GUINESS WORLD RECORD!
for the largest collection of clothes recycled
BRING us your old jeans
Our goal is to collect 500 pairs!

Boxes are located in the Workroom, Assessment Room & Investigations Lab. Jeans can be dropped off until the last day of school.

Jeans will be donated to “COTTON FROM BLUE TO GREEN”. The material is recycled into Ultra Touch insulation, which is used to help build houses in places that have been damaged by hurricanes, tornadoes and other natural disasters. Your jeans will help set a record, keep clothes out of landfills, and build homes for families to live in! Write a good-bye message on them and share this project with the community!

to obtain more information and keep up with the national count.

The PTO will be providing an AMES yearbook for all students and staff during the last week of school.

The project is currently being handled by great team of talented and dedicated volunteers that are creating a spectacular memory book.

All families that paid for books in the beginning of the year will be provided a refund.  Please continue to review the Thursday folder for announcements on the details, process and dates refunds will be issued.

We look forward to adding to another memory of our time at AMES!
