Fourth Grade is an exciting and challenging year for the students. All curricular areas are interrelated. Reading, writing, and technology are incorporated into Social Studies and Science. Science units include: rocks and minerals, Colorado life zones, skeletal and muscular systems of the human body, and history of space exploration. Social Studies includes Colorado history and regions of the United States. Everyday Math encompasses new concepts in addition to consistent reinforcement of previously learned math concepts.
